Direct hire. This is not a temp to perm or temp opening. Seeking Help Desk/Service Desk Administrator. Must be US Citizen with ability to attain interim Secret clearance. Salaried job with full benefits up to $45,000...but will depend on experience. Relocation available. Remote job but must be local to White Sands, NM area 88002. Must have Security+ cert prior to start.
As part of an enterprise application Team (approx. 60 members), perform the following functions:
- Deliver technical customer support over the phone, email, or at desk side. Identify, evaluate and solve end-user workstation/printer problems;
- Provide Help Desk support services in the area of desktop software, hardware, user management, and resolution to all end users within DMDC enterprise.
- Have experience with Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, user management, ticket tracking solutions, and basic remediation of enterprise help desk requests
- Have experience remotely managing computers.
- Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner to end user.
- Interacts daily with supervisor, peer groups, and customers.
- Excellent customer service skills both on phone and at desk side
Job Requirements:
- 1+ years’ Service Desk and/or IT experience
- Obtain DoD SECURITY CLEARANCE within 3 months of start
